To make the beautiful Ginger Pear Tart featured on our insta, follow the steps below!
1 sheet of pre-made pie crust
4-6 mixed pears, sliced
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Ginger Syrup from Morris Kitchens or freshly grated ginger
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
½ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp sanding sugar
– Lightly grease an 8″ tart dish. Press pie crust into dish, crimping where necessary.
– Arrange sliced pears evenly around the dish making sure to fill completely
– Combine butter, brown sugar, Ginger Syrup, vanilla and cinnamon in a small bowl and drizzle evenly over pears.
– Sprinkle tart with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 30 minutes
