Blood Orange Pecan Macarons

I have always swooned over beautiful French macarons but never been brave enough to give making them a try. Until now, that is! My first attempt at macarons was surprisingly easy and fun! They turned out absolutely perfectly and we have been eating them for breakfast for two weeks now. I adapted the recipe from A Classic Twist blog as I did not have walnuts on hand but substituted for Pecans that turned out perfectly! Catch the recipe here: Blood Orange Walnut Macarons
